Entrance fee to visit the Panama Canal Visitors Center at Miraflores is US$8.00 for the full visit which is the best option. There are no discount for students unless you are studying in a Panamanian institution who organized a visit with the Panama Canal Authority.
ReplyDeleteA normal visit takes about 2hours including the observation deck, exhibits and theater.
Another great optio would be a visit to "Panama La Vieja" World Heritage Site.
It Opens from tuesday to sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and cost US$5.00 per person. A good visit would take you about 3 hours including the walks throughout the ruins. BE AWARE OF THE SECURITY ISSUES IN THE AREA. Do not wonder too far away from the main road since the neighborhood next to the ruins home pickpocket professional runners. There is an artisan market and the Cathedral Tower has been resently fit with an starecase that allows great views from the top.
