Ahora Metromall cuenta con transporte gratuito desde el Aeropuerto de Tocumen

Un nuevo y ambicioso proyecto está destinado a establecer un transporte para el traslado gratuito de los turistas que se encuentran en tránsito en el Aeropuerto de Tocumen, hacia Metromall y de regreso al Aeropuerto de Tocumen.

Según estadísticas de la ATP, anualmente pasan por el Aeropuerto de Tocumen 4.8 millones pasajeros y solo se quedan aproximadamente un millón. El reto consiste en atraer a esos pasajeros en tránsito y darles a conocer más de Panamá.

El nuevo servicio “Free Shuttle” de Metromall sale del Aeropuerto cada 30 minutos en un horario de 10:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. para que los pasajeros en tránsito puedan realizar sus compras y regresar al Aeropuerto a tiempo para tomar su vuelo de conexión. El servicio se ofrece bajo el concepto de Free Shuttle por el personal de Metromall que cuenta con dos mostradores dentro de los satélites de pasajeros del Aeropuerto y uno a la salida de aduanas junto al Centro de Información de la ATP, donde los pasajeros se registran para el traslado y se les hace entrega de la tarjeta exclusiva para turistas “Panama Shopping Card” que ofrece miles de descuentos y beneficios en más de 300 tiendas de Metromall y Multiplaza Pacific.

Metromall now offers free shuttle transport from Tocumen Airport

Travelers on layover at Tocumen International Airport now have the option to take a free shuttle to Metromall and back to the airport for their connecting flight, through a new project headed up by Grupo Roble, builders and administrators of Metromall.

According to statistics from the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), annually 4.8 million passengers transit through Tocumen Airport and only about a million of them stay. The challenge is to attract those passengers in transit and to give them more of Panama during their short stay.

The new service, called “Free Shuttle” to Metromall leaves the airport every 30 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., enabling passengers in transit to shop and return to the airport in time to catch their connecting flight. There are two counters in the airport passenger satellites and one next to the customs exit, next to the ATP Information Center of the ATP, where passengers are registered for transfer. They also get the exclusive card for tourists, the “Panama Shopping Card” that offers thousands of discounts and benefits in more than 300 stores in the Metromall and Multiplaza Pacific shopping centers.
